Many people are now investing into a good pair of frameless eyeglasses because it does not only function as a correction eyeglasses but it also very stylish to wear in any occasion. Indeed, it adds up on our attitude and sense of style. Frameless eyewear has light lenses compare to other eyewear. You can choose your own design and type of frame to be used. While rimless eyewear isn’t exorbitantly more than other types of frames on average, you can expect to pay quite a bit for high quality rimless styles. More work goes into the polishing of the lenses, drilling the holes in them and mounting the lenses in the frames when you use a rimless rather than a rimmed style.
Unique Designer Eyewear!? I like to buy designer eyewear such as from Warby Parker, Initium, and Effector. I would like some other websites where I can buy more unique eyewear. Thanks
If you truly would like to buy quality designer eyewear, you should go directly through a local optical boutique. The best high quality independent brands have exclusive distribution channels and only make their product available through quality opticians whom they know have the proper education and ability to style their clients and provide proper measurements and fittings. This paired with proper customer service and follow up care is very important. I would be happy to suggest a great optical boutique in your part of town if you let me know where you are located, but I would look for brands like MYKITA, Barton Perreira, Bevel, Orgreen, SALT, Robert Marc, Beausoleil, Theo, and Alexander Daas. And there are many more I can add to that list… These are brands that are handmade in the best factories and that set the standards for style and design. Don’t fall for clever advertising or licensed designer names that just steal designs from these independent designers and use sub-par quality materials and manufacturers. And definitely don’t do your eyes the injustice of online eyewear – you really need to have an optician fit you in person to make sure you don’t do damage to your vision with bad measurements and lenses.
Tanning With No Eyewear? I’ve read some articles about tanning with no eyewear and how much damage it can do to your eyes. But how dangerous is it really? I’m very cautious about my eyes and therefore I always wear eyewear, but I don’t wanna look like a racoon! :o/
Yes,but looking like a racoon can’t be too bad compared to not being able to see. LA_Scene said it,some things the UV absorbs to,therefore causing more harm than good. Stick to the eyewear.
Tanning Without Eyewear? I tan without the eyewear because the when i did i got dark circles around my eyes. i know theres dangers but i want to no if they still apply if i keep my eyes closed because i always thought eye damage only happend if you kept your eyes open with no eyewear while tanning. am i right?
You should NEVER EVER tan with out your eyes covered. The UVB/UVA rays go threw your eyelids and straight into your eyes. By doing so you are destroying your color vision or in plain words how you see colors and are now at a greater risk of developing cataracts and eye problems as you become older.
If you don’t want to have raccoon eyes try
Viewkeepers or Wink Ease disposable tan threw eye covers which are great, as they wont leave you with raccoon eyes and protect your eyes.
