    Great, but two issues Overall, the quality of materials, and design and construction of this rack are outstanding. Loading and unloading bikes from the rack is a breeze and the rack easily folds out of the way when not in use.I have 2 complaints, however. The first is the straps that hold back tire in the wheel pocket. The straps are plastic, and have teeth on them to engage a ratcheting mechanism that you are supposed to use to tighten the strap down. The issue is that the plastic is fairly soft, and even a…

    Fast and efficient, worth the $$ I’ve had this rack now for a few months and use it almost daily. I put my mountain bike, road bike, tri bike, or beach cruiser on it and the handles like a champ. The only single problem I had with it is when hauling a bike with large tires (mtb/beach cruiser) the wind would some times torque the tire out of the non-locked tire craddle. This would create a crazy situation in having to pull over immediately. I fixed the problem by putting a little strand of rope around the wheel and the craddle…

    Keep looking I purchased the bike rack because my new mountain bike would not hang correctly on the one I have used for three years. I read the reviews and thought great and ordered. I should have gone with my first impression, send it back. The molded plastic wheel holder don’t craddle my 29″ moountain tires very well and not even the 700 road tires, maybe a small kids bike.
